This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from this site.
Your Data

We are a cloud and API based solution, which means your uploaded media and transcripts are processed by the third-party sub-processors listed below. We collect, via registration, some personally identifiable information, including your email address and password.

As a paying user of the Service, we will receive your payment transaction details (for example, the amount paid and the date of payment), from the payment service provider that processed your payment.

Uploaded audio and video is removed after processing. Transcripts are retained for up to 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically. You can also delete any transcript yourself at any time from your dashboard.
Sub-processors

These are the third parties that may process your data on our behalf. We do not sell your data. However, these providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and they may retain, process, or use data passed to them — including to improve or train their own models. Where a provider offers a way to opt out of model training, we make a reasonable effort to do so, but we cannot guarantee it in every case and we do not control how these providers ultimately handle data. We encourage you to review their policies. If a recording is sensitive enough that this matters, use the offline desktop app, which transcribes entirely on your own machine and sends nothing to any third party.

  • Deepgram — speech-to-text transcription. Handles the large majority of jobs.
  • AssemblyAI — speech-to-text transcription, used only as a fallback when a job fails on our primary provider.
  • Google (Gemini) — AI summaries, notes, and translation.
  • OpenAI, AWS Polly, and fal.ai — text-to-speech and audiobook voice generation, used only when you request those features.
  • Amazon Web Services (S3) — temporary storage of uploaded media during processing.
  • Supabase — database storage for your account records and transcripts.
  • Upstash — job queueing, caching, and rate limiting.
  • Clerk — account creation, authentication, and login.
  • Stripe — payment processing. We never store your card details on our servers.
  • SendGrid and Knock — transactional email and in-app notifications.

This list may change as we improve the Service. We will update this page when it does.
Other Data We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

This website uses cookies to analyse traffic (only anonymized and aggregated data), remember your preferences, and serve advertisments (using Google Adsense, non-personalized ads are used in EU).

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
